We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee, manage and direct all aspects of both Commercial and Residential Projects. Applicants would ideally have prior experience in Historic Preservation. Candidates should have excellent leadership qualities that allow him or her to take control of a project and produce results. This position is ultimately responsible for all time, cost, and quality requirements on a project from beginning to end.
PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:
Solicit bids and pre-qualify subcontractors.
Manage a database of subcontractors and suppliers.
Analyze Bid and Contract documents.
Interface with subcontractors and suppliers to evaluate proposals.
Complete subcontractor and material/ equipment supplier buyout.
Prepare contracts to include detailed scopes of work.
Submittal coordination when applicable.
Project start-up, meetings, negotiations, and close-out.
Coordinate and track Request for Information (RFI’s), and Change Orders.
General day-to day project management duties.
Ability to prepare and update construction schedules.
This position reports to our president of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
A Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in Managing Construction Projects. Preferable Historic Preservation Projects
A BS in Construction Management is Preferred.
